Subject: Joining in the IELTS class at school
Hi Philip
Thank you very much for your kind support for the students as always.
I feel privileged to be a part of IELTS class.
I would love to take some time to let you know how wonderful Yolanda is.
I have never seen such a passionate, knowledgeable helpful teacher before.
She is devoted to equip students thoroughly for their exams with various skills such as writing and reading including grammar and vocabulary.
She prepares in advance and gives us top tip material copies which stimulate our learnings.
I find the unique quality of her teaching is her making us do practice test as often as possible.
As soon as we learn the exam techniques, soon we are given practice tests which are normally short but from the actual old exams papers. I find these are very helpful.
We are encouraged to strengthen our vocabulary while we preparing daily vocab test of 10words
while daily we are assigned to read one or two pages-long Ielts topic related article which is packed with knowledge , idioms, phrasal verbs and collocation, best of all, daily writing homework is in there.
She seems always happy to go the extra mile for students’ progress or any personal need.
For example, if she finds something is short for us, she prepares materials to teach us.
I find myself getting into English every day.
Moreover, every writing homework is corrected by her in her morning break.
I think she was born to be a teacher, because she is so passionate about her students’ progress.
We are being trained so well. When my scheduled lesson is completed in June, I will terribly miss my class, the joy of learning.
Thank you so much for the fantastic teacher.
Best regards 👍☺️
Hannah
